Zawya Shadhuliya Kerala, a prominent cultural and religious organisation, has unveiled its much-awaited calendar for the upcoming year, 2022. The calendar release ceremony was attended by senior scholars, community leaders, and members of the public who have come to regard the Zawiya's annual calendar as both a spiritual and practical resource.
The calendar, which follows the Islamic Hijri calendar alongside the Gregorian, features photographs from the Zawiya's activities throughout the year, important Islamic dates, and a selection of supplications and spiritual aphorisms drawn from the Shadhiliyya tradition.
This year's calendar has a special focus on the centenary of a prominent Shadhili saint of the Malabar region, with dedicated pages containing his biography and some of his most celebrated spiritual teachings.
The calendar is available at the Zawiya office and affiliated centres. A limited number of copies are available for distribution to donors and well-wishers. Those wishing to support the Zawiya's educational and publication activities are encouraged to get in touch.
