A sufi saint migrated from Makka to Mahe (a place in Kerala near Kannur District). He was instrumental in spreading Tasawwuf in Kerala. He taught Islam with its spiritual dimension to people. He was a beacon of spirituality in Kerala at the time. He was the eldest son of Shamsudeen Makki Fassi (QS) who was son of sufi saint and scholar Muhammd ul Fassi (QS). Sheikh Ibrahim ul Fassi (QS) was the master of Sheikh Abdul Qader Makki.
