Along with intelligence one of the major characteristics of human being which distinct human from other creatures are human values. Higher the values one has the better human being he/she is. Values are not expected from a worthless one. "We have honored the children of Adam. We carried them on land and sea, and provided them with excellent provisions. We made them superior to many of those We created.” (Al-Isra: 70) This holy verse is taught to the world by our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH. Holy Qur'an affirms the value and status of human among the cosmic creation. The Qur'an itself states (Al-Baqarah: 29) that everything else is created and are arranged here for the convenience of human. The Qur'an not only reveals that human beings are excellent beings, but also testifies to the fact that all human beings are fundamentally equal. 'O people, We have created you from a male-female pair. You have been made different nations and tribes that you may know one another. '(Hujurat: 13) Two things became clear here. One: Man is an excellent being. Two: All human beings are basically equal. It is on this basis that the Qur'an and the words of the Prophet evaluated human beings and defined their values. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) upheld these values throughout his life. The apostle stood for these values uncompromisingly in personal life, family life, social life and in the field of preaching. In this we have before us two proofs that these qualities were inherent in him personally even before he was known as a prophet. One: The treaty of 590 AD, known as the Hillful Fudul. The treaty was signed when the Prophet was only 20 years old before his prophethood. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was accompanied by the Quraish delegation who had gathered at the house of the Quraish leader Abdullah Ibn Jad. The essence of that treaty was a strong movement against injustice. Prophet PBUH expressed that he was happy to be a part of it then and also expressed willingness to part of such movement or treaty in the future. Similarly, the words of consolation from his wife Khadeeja (ra) when the Holy Prophet returned home from the cave of Hira at the beginning of his prophethood with the first experience of divine revelation, have been recorded in history. 'Be happy. GOD never hurts you. You are the one who connects the family, always tells the truth, carries the burden, gives to those who do not have, entertains the guests, and helps the needy (Narrated by Aysha (RA) reported by Bukhari) So this is like a portrait of evaluation that was painted before the prophethood by someone who had known the man Muhammad personally for years. It has it all. Through this we can read what is the permanent aspect of that personality. Prophecy added more brightness and brilliance to that special life of up to 40 years. The followers enthusiastically recorded every moment of his later life. Let us go a little further through the sublime expressions of humanity as seen in it. During the initial period of prophecy. It was a time when the Quraish of Makkah generally disbelieved and despised the Holy Prophet. A trader from a foreign land came to Makkah and traded with the Quraish leader Abul Hakm bin Hisham (Abu Jahl). But the trader was not paid by Abu Jahl instead the trader was scolded and threatened by Abu Jahl. The trader approached many with the case. No one dares. Abu Jahl, was merciless and did not want to intervene. Then the trader entered the audience where many of the Quraish were sitting and talking around the Ka'bah and expressed his grief. They refused to help knowing it was Abu Jahl on the other side. The Holy Prophet was also sitting a little distance away. They mocked and tempted him, saying, "Is not this man sitting? His name is Muhammad. Go and tell him. He PBUH will make it possible. They said, pointing to the Messenger. The foreigner, who did not know what was inside people of Quraish, approached the Holy Prophet PBUH and informed about his sad experience with Abu Jahl. “When I told the Quraish, they asked me to see you”, trader said. I need some help to overcome this difficulty. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) immediately took him to Abu Jahl's house. Who is his worst enemy. One who does not hesitate to do anything. The complainant goes to house of Abu Jahl with the stranger. To resolve the grief of a fellow human. That's what this adventure is all about. The audience on the other side sent someone from behind to celebrate when they got a chance to make fun. To find out what's going on there. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) along with the trader knocked on Abu Jahl's door. 'Who?' 'I am Muhammad. Come out. I have something to say. ' Abu Jahl's face was saddened when he came down in front of his enemy Muhammad, who had gathered the man he had played with without paying. Shock. Delusion. Abu Jahl’s face was pale. 'Look, settle this man’s payment”. Abu Jahl did not feel it like an order rather a scream into his ears. Oh, right. Abu Jahl immediately went inside, gave trader his money, and sent him away. (Sira ibn Hisham. 1 / 389-90). The last few chapters show examples of how he treated his fellow workers and their wives with kindness. We have seen the testimony of Anas (ra) who has been with Prophet Muhammad PBUH for 10 years since childhood. This is how the apostle himself described his dealings with his wives. 'The best of you are the ones who treat their family well. I treat my family better than you do. ' All the natural problems that can arise when having more than one wife are solved with self-control and patience. He gave everyone the love and consideration they deserved in the midst of a busy and active public life. His married life was full of love, warmth, happy and joyful. We have already seen the humane nature of the way he PBUH treat criminals and wrongdoers. The manner in which the man who asked permission to commit adultery was treated, the manner in which he treated the man urinated in the masjid, and the manner in which he generally exhorted the wrongdoers without disrespecting or hurting their feelings were all anything but the sublime expression of humanity. Similarly, look at dealing with enemies. I like the position of those who worship Allah, the one who acknowledges the oneness of Allah in their posterity, without cursing or even praying for their destruction against the people of Ta'if who tortured the Prophet PBUH physically and mentally.
If one intends Allah subhanwutala to conceal your faults, then conceal the secrets of the people. Allah Subhanahu Taala is the best of concealers And likes the one who hides from slaves.
When he PBUH entered Makkah victoriously during the conquest of Makkah, who inflicted the greatest harm on himself PBUH and his followers, on the other side were people forcing them to flee the country, brutally torturing his own relatives and even killing his own body. Yet, in an environment where there is no one to question him PBUH on how he deal with them, the Prophet PBUH asks - 'What do you think I will do to you?' You are a noble brother, the son of a noble brother. Only good is expected of you ' 'Go, you are all free' By what measure can the human value of a person who can say this be measured? Human values upheld by Prophet Muhammad PBUH p4 History records that when going to war, children, women, and the elderly were not to be killed, the wounded were not to be tortured, the trees were not to be cut down, and the enemy was not to be thrown out of their place of worship or disturbed whilst they worship.
See also how generously and humanely the captives were treated. The prisoners of war at Badr were given lightest possible punishment and those who could read and write were arranged to teach it to the Muslims Sufana, a woman in the crowd, was the daughter of the famous emperor Hatim Athai. Not only were they and their friends released without any punishment or imprisonment, but they were repatriated with full respect. In the crowd, he praised her father for his generosity. In this way, the world can see in the Holy Prophet (PBUH) the unparalleled radiance of humanity that is coming to the fore as the great wonder of human qualities through endless rare experiences.
